Senior Systems Engineer – Requirements Development/Requirements Management (Top Secret)

This engineer will maintain and improve system requirements and related documentation for effectors programs across development and production activities. Working within RTX’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities organization, the position partners with multidisciplinary engineers, technical leads, subject matter experts, and customers throughout the systems lifecycle. Responsibilities include supporting design verification, qualification and integration testing, failure investigations, trade studies, performance analysis, and test equipment software verification. The engineer will also mentor colleagues and promote knowledge sharing across integrated and cross-functional teams. This opportunity suits an experienced systems engineer with defense or missile-program exposure, strong requirements-management skills, and an active Top Secret clearance who is comfortable working onsite in Tucson.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related engineering field and at least 5 years of engineering experienceExperience developing system requirements specifications and managing requirements processesBackground in systems engineering, including architecture, CONOPS, or verification planningExperience with verification, qualification, integration, or system testingActive, current Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenshipAbility to work onsite in Tucson, Arizona
