This position is part of the facilities function supporting ASM’s semiconductor manufacturing and testing operations in Phoenix. The specialist monitors gas systems, handles cylinder replacements, assists with commissioning and equipment qualification, and helps resolve complex facility issues. The role also contributes to infrastructure projects, operating procedures, safety compliance, and cross-functional operational support. It suits a technically experienced facilities professional who is comfortable working in semiconductor, cleanroom, laboratory, or similar industrial environments. Strong problem-solving, organization, communication, independence, and commitment to safety are important, along with willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call coverage and complete breathing-air and respirator requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalentAt least 5 years of facilities, equipment, or related technical experienceExperience with specialty gas systems, gas cabinets, VMBs, or semiconductor infrastructureStrong troubleshooting and root-cause problem-solving abilitiesAbility to document procedures and manage priorities effectivelyWillingness to obtain Breathing Air certification and pass respirator fit testing
