Senior Principal Contracts Specialist

This position is a senior contracts leadership role supporting GDMS programs and business development activities. It manages contractual communications, negotiations, documentation, performance monitoring, and change control for customer and subcontractor agreements. The specialist provides expert guidance on federal contracting requirements, evaluates subcontractor proposals, and helps resolve complex or unusual commercial and program issues. The role works across capture, proposal, program, legal, finance, engineering, and supply chain functions while maintaining strong external relationships. It also includes mentoring less experienced contracts professionals and contributing ideas for process improvement and responsible use of AI.
