Senior Solutions IT Architect supporting Capacity Growth–Remote, Domestic US Locations

This architect will act as a senior technical advisor, translating business and mission needs into scalable infrastructure designs and long-term technology roadmaps. The work spans classified compute, storage, virtualization, hybrid cloud, cross-domain data movement, identity management, archival systems, and cybersecurity compliance. The position partners with engineering, networking, systems administration, application, cybersecurity, and proposal teams to create integrated solutions and high-quality architecture documentation. It also supports cloud adoption, legacy-system migration, capacity planning, and technical reviews for Raytheon’s classified transformation efforts. This opportunity suits an experienced infrastructure or enterprise architect who can communicate effectively with both technical teams and leadership and who is comfortable working in regulated defense environments.

Requirements

Active, transferable Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenshipUniversity degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 7+ yearsExperience designing and deploying infrastructure or systems architecturesKnowledge of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud, encryption, and securityFamiliarity with classified cloud, cross-domain solutions, RMF, NIST, ICD, and DoD frameworksAbility to obtain Security+ CE or equivalent DoD certification within six months
