This principal-level position involves architecting and implementing software solutions for sophisticated missile flight simulator facilities that serve as the final validation step before actual flight testing. You'll work alongside weapon system engineers to translate requirements into robust real-time software implementations, handle system integration across hardware and firmware components, and establish software standards and best practices across the organization. The role suits experienced embedded systems engineers who thrive in defense-critical environments, have deep expertise in real-time software architectures, and can mentor junior developers while driving innovation in testing infrastructure. You'll split time between hands-on development in C++ and Python, system-level design decisions, and collaborative problem-solving with hardware teams and program stakeholders.

Requirements
