Open role
Neuromorphic/AI Research Scientist
This scientist will advance neuromorphic computing methods for robotics, signal processing, control, learning, and autonomous systems deployed on edge platforms. The work includes creating research-grade software, evaluating algorithms under constraints such as energy, latency, memory, sparsity, and low-precision computation, and translating findings into hardware requirements. The position sits within Intel’s Neuromorphic Computing Lab and CTO Office, working across multidisciplinary engineering and research groups. Responsibilities also include building experimental benchmarks, producing customer-focused prototypes, documenting results, and publishing or presenting technical findings. It suits a research-oriented candidate with a strong AI or computational background who can turn experimental ideas into rigorously measured, commercially relevant systems.
