Senior Principal Spacecraft Concept & Mission Engineer/Sr Principal Systems Engineer Onsite

This engineer will work within Raytheon’s operations and mission analysis organization alongside analysts and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Responsibilities include assessing mission feasibility, optimizing trajectories, building physics-based models and analysis tools, evaluating constellations and concepts of operations, and presenting results through tools such as STK. The position also contributes to mission-planning software, grid-enabled data analysis, customer coordination, technology maturation, and potential research or intellectual property efforts. It suits an experienced aerospace or systems engineer who can work independently, connect technical details to system-level mission outcomes, and support exploratory programs in a classified environment. The role is based onsite in Tucson, Arizona, and requires U.S. citizenship with an active Top Secret clearance.
