Photomask Data Preparation/System Administration Engineer

This position supports TSMC Arizona’s photomask engineering operation by keeping data-preparation environments, servers, and related workflows reliable and secure. The engineer may lead infrastructure projects, design new architectures, manage Linux and Windows systems, and oversee technologies such as databases, VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes. Responsibilities also include tape-out execution, mask-data verification and conversion, OPC-related activities, and troubleshooting process or system issues. The role works closely with internal fabs, engineering groups, and global EBO colleagues across significant time-zone differences. It is well suited to an IT or computer science graduate who enjoys structured problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and a fast-moving semiconductor manufacturing environment. The position is on-site in Phoenix and includes scheduled night shifts plus weekend or holiday on-call rotations.
