Hookup Safety Engineer

This engineer will support the safety function for TSMC Arizona’s F21 FAB project, working across cleanrooms, construction areas, and other semiconductor workspaces. Responsibilities include identifying hazards, preparing job safety analyses and risk assessments, auditing work practices, and enforcing OSHA, EPA, NFPA, ANSI, and company requirements. The position also coordinates safety expectations for contractors, contributes to industrial hygiene programs and incident investigations, and helps deliver employee training. It suits a safety professional with an occupational health, industrial hygiene, or engineering background who communicates well and can work effectively in demanding industrial environments. Candidates should be comfortable with onsite work, specialized PPE, physical activity, and occasional extended international travel.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related fieldAt least 1 year of safety-related experienceKnowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, industrial hygiene, and construction safetyValid OSHA 30 certificationMicrosoft Office and safety management software proficiencyAbility to work onsite in Phoenix, wear PPE, and meet physical demands
