Project Specialist - HRIS (Contract)

This entry-level HRIS project coordination role supports the Sr. HRIS Specialist in keeping multiple initiatives organized and progressing on schedule. Responsibilities include maintaining project plans, facilitating meetings, documenting decisions, monitoring dependencies, supporting intake and prioritization, and coordinating user acceptance testing and rollouts. The specialist serves as a communication hub among HR, IT, vendors, and project participants, escalating risks or delays when necessary. The position suits someone with strong organization, follow-through, communication, and attention to detail who can manage confidential information and multiple concurrent tasks. Experience with HRIS, project-management tools, systems implementations, or UAT is beneficial, though the role is also suitable for candidates with relevant academic or internship experience.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business, HR, information systems, communications, or project-management field, or equivalent experienceAt least 2 years of project coordination, project support, HR operations, or related experience; relevant internships or academic projects may countAbility to manage schedules, track tasks, identify dependencies, and follow through on deliverablesStrong written and verbal communication and stakeholder coordination skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and OutlookStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle confidential information
