Open role
Product Engineer (Yield & Quality)
The Product Engineer will investigate wafer test data and chip performance problems, determine likely failure mechanisms, and work with fab integration and process teams on corrective actions. The position also supports products before tape-out through design-rule reviews, layout and DFM assessment, and characterization of process conditions that balance yield and performance. Engineers will track implemented fixes and confirm that they produce measurable improvements. The role is part of TSMC Arizona’s semiconductor manufacturing and product engineering organization in Phoenix, with required training or travel in Taiwan for six to nine months. It suits an electrical engineer with a master’s degree, semiconductor fundamentals, collaborative problem-solving ability, and the resilience to work in a demanding, cross-functional environment.
