Manager, Field Service Manager

This leader will oversee field service performance for important semiconductor customers, coordinating complex escalations among customers, engineering, and service organizations. They will serve as a technical authority across multiple equipment systems, support technology qualifications, apply structured problem-solving, and use operational data to improve reliability, uptime, and ownership costs. The position also contributes to account planning, customer relationships, capacity decisions, and service strategy while ensuring strong environmental, health, safety, and compliance practices. As a people manager, the successful candidate will establish clear expectations, develop talent, encourage accountability, and build an inclusive culture across local and global teams. This opportunity suits an experienced semiconductor equipment professional who can lead through ambiguity, communicate technical issues effectively, and guide cross-functional programs in demanding customer environments.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 16+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent advanced-degree experienceExtensive semiconductor equipment experience in field service, support, or customer operationsTechnical escalation leadership and SME experience across complex equipment or process systemsExperience with at least two advanced semiconductor equipment platformsPeople management or formal leadership experience, with strong structured problem-solving skillsAbility to travel up to 20% and work extended hours when escalations require it
