The Environmental Health and Safety Engineer is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing safety and industrial hygiene programs that protect Intel's workforce and surrounding communities at manufacturing facilities. The role requires conducting detailed hazard evaluations, investigating safety incidents, monitoring workplace environmental conditions, and providing technical support for equipment procurement and facility design to ensure adherence to semiconductor industry standards. This position sits within Intel's global EHS organization and serves as a key technical resource for the Intel Foundry division's advanced manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety issues before they impact operations. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or engineering with 4+ years of EHS management experienceProficiency in workplace hazard evaluation techniques and regulatory compliance frameworksExperience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planningStrong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain complex safety requirementsSound engineering judgment and technical problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work collaboratively across business teams and represent site-level EHS interests
