EHS Engineer
The Environmental Health and Safety Engineer is responsible for creating, implementing, and managing safety and industrial hygiene programs that protect Intel's workforce and surrounding communities at manufacturing facilities. The role requires conducting detailed hazard evaluations, investigating safety incidents, monitoring workplace environmental conditions, and providing technical support for equipment procurement and facility design to ensure adherence to semiconductor industry standards. This position sits within Intel's global EHS organization and serves as a key technical resource for the Intel Foundry division's advanced manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving safety issues before they impact operations. Success in this role requires both deep technical knowledge of occupational safety practices and the ability to collaborate effectively across manufacturing teams to drive continuous safety improvements.
