The Facilities Services Intern contributes to the infrastructure supporting Intel’s advanced semiconductor production and technology operations. Responsibilities may include continuous improvement projects, performance analysis, root-cause investigations, and technical problem solving involving facility equipment and systems. The role offers exposure to areas such as mechanical and electrical facilities engineering, controls, chemical and gas systems, water treatment, environmental health and safety, and manufacturing infrastructure. It is designed for bachelor’s students in relevant STEM disciplines who want practical experience in engineering, sustainability, automation, or advanced manufacturing. Successful candidates will bring analytical ability, teamwork, communication skills, and an interest in solving complex operational challenges in an on-site environment.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM fieldAt least 3 months of relevant engineering, research, technical, analytical, or industry experienceExposure to equipment systems, engineering design, laboratory work, modeling, simulation, or data analysisInterest in facilities systems, sustainability, advanced manufacturing, or environmental health and safetyStrong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilitiesAvailable to start in Spring or Summer 2027; no employment-based visa sponsorship
