Engineering Designer – Level 3/4

This designer will support the Mechanical Engineering organization within the Launch Vehicles Business Unit by producing detailed component and assembly models, drawings, and manufacturing documentation. Responsibilities include checking designs for fit, manufacturability, tolerances, materials, hardware selection, and compliance with applicable ASME and military standards. The position collaborates with engineering disciplines, manufacturing, quality teams, and vendors, and may provide direction to other staff. Strong experience with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, weld design, CNC manufacturing processes, Siemens NX, and Teamcenter is expected. It suits experienced aerospace or defense design professionals who can work accurately under deadlines, communicate effectively, and operate independently or as part of a team.
