This position supports both new business pursuits and post-award execution by creating material strategies that fit evolving development-program requirements. The manager oversees domestic suppliers, negotiates cost, quality, and delivery outcomes, and ensures hardware and services are available when needed. Working across a matrixed organization, the role serves as the key link between program teams, engineering stakeholders, and the supplier network. Responsibilities also include forecasting material expenses, managing EAC and EVMS metrics, and maintaining compliance with procurement regulations and customer requirements. It suits an experienced supply chain or subcontract professional who can influence stakeholders, manage complex supplier relationships, and work independently in a classified defense environment.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years relevant supply chain experience, or advanced degree with minimum 5 years experienceMinimum 5 years in supply chain-related roles (procurement, MRP, cost estimating, or finance)Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract managementProficiency with MRP/ERP systems or equivalent manufacturing softwareActive and transferable U.S. government security clearance (Secret level) required before startU.S. citizenship required
