Program Quality Engineer

This position joins Raytheon’s NSMS Quality organization as a quality representative embedded with production program teams. The engineer helps deliver conforming products by applying RTX processes, AS9100 requirements, command media, and customer obligations throughout the production lifecycle. Responsibilities include leading root-cause and corrective-action work, reviewing technical data and configuration changes, supporting customer hardware acceptance activities, and developing cost and efficiency improvements. The role suits a collaborative problem solver who can interpret technical documentation, use quality data to guide decisions, and communicate effectively with engineering, manufacturing, program management, customers, and suppliers. It is an onsite Tucson role requiring U.S. citizenship and an active or obtainable Secret security clearance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in STEM or another technical field and at least 2 years of relevant experienceExperience with quality systems such as ISO 9001, AS9100, or AS9102Experience with failure analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective/preventive actionsAbility to interpret technical drawings and review technical data packagesU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearanceStrong cross-functional communication and problem-solving skills
