Engineer I, Mechanical Design

This position creates and maintains detailed mechanical models, assemblies, layouts, and drawings for precision semiconductor equipment. The designer prepares release packages, manages revisions and engineering changes, and supports product data and configuration workflows. They work with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and prototype teams to ensure designs can be built and assembled effectively. The role also contributes to drafting standards, CAD libraries, documentation improvements, and design reviews. It is well suited to a detail-oriented mechanical design professional with hands-on CAD experience and an interest in complex, highly engineered equipment.

Requirements

Associate's or bachelor's degree in mechanical design, drafting, mechanical engineering technology, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of mechanical design, drafting, or CAD modeling experienceProficiency with Creo Parametric or comparable 3D CAD softwareExperience producing detailed engineering drawings and mechanical assembliesKnowledge of GD&T and engineering drawing standardsFamiliarity with machining, sheet metal, welding, and assembly processes
