Chemical & Gas Safety Manager

Reporting to the EHS Director within Operations, this manager will establish standards for chemical approval, storage, handling, gas systems, hazardous waste, inventory control, and emergency response. The position serves as QCi’s primary technical authority for semiconductor chemicals and specialty gases, including pyrophoric, toxic, corrosive, and flammable materials. Responsibilities include interpreting IFC, NFPA, RCRA, and state requirements; coordinating with fire officials and regulators; conducting audits; managing detection systems; and supporting incident investigations. The role also partners with facilities and engineering teams, writes procedures, delivers training, and supports regulatory reporting across sites. It suits an experienced EHS professional from semiconductor, photonics, or microelectronics manufacturing who can combine hands-on chemical and gas expertise with strong documentation, communication, and multi-site coordination skills.
