Senior Engineer I, Software Engineering

This engineer will work across software and hardware boundaries to investigate safety, performance, and reliability problems in semiconductor equipment. Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, real-time control troubleshooting, architecture evaluation, software development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance. The position collaborates closely with quality, support, field engineering, and customers, serving as a technical escalation resource and communicating findings through documentation and customer reviews. It suits an experienced engineer who enjoys complex system-level problem solving and has strong skills in C++ or C#, multithreading, debugging, and software design. Experience with semiconductor equipment, machine control, networking, device drivers, or advanced statistical analysis would be especially valuable.
