Design Automation Engineer (TFM/EDA)

This engineer will maintain and improve front-end and back-end design environments, including automation scripts, process flows, licenses, compute resources, and Intel PDK collateral. They will troubleshoot designer issues throughout the design cycle, assist with project ramp-up through training and documentation, and help integrate new tools and methodologies into scalable workflows. The position also involves coordinating with EDA suppliers, library and PDK specialists, design teams, and infrastructure partners to ensure reliable tool and compute support. It suits an experienced silicon design automation professional who is comfortable with physical design flows, Linux environments, scripting, and hands-on EDA or PDK installation. U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a TS/SCI clearance are required, with government-cleared candidates preferred.
