This engineer will work within Quality & Mission Assurance alongside software, systems, integration and test, safety, and hardware quality teams. Responsibilities include reviewing software deliverables, requirements changes, release packages, code reviews, defects, test evidence, and configuration-controlled technical data. The position also supports peer reviews, control boards, audits, test witnessing, risk assessments, root-cause investigations, and improvement initiatives using Agile and DevSecOps practices. It suits a quality or engineering professional with experience in software development lifecycles, requirements, testing, metrics, release management, and defect analysis. Candidates must be U.S. citizens with an active Secret clearance and be prepared to work onsite in Tucson Monday through Friday.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and typically two years of quality or engineering experienceActive U.S. DoD Secret clearance and U.S. citizenshipExperience with software quality, requirements, testing, defects, releases, and metricsWorking knowledge of Agile or Scrum and CI/CD practicesAbility to perform compliance reviews, audits, risk assessments, and corrective actionsExperience with quality standards, QMS processes, or DevSecOps tools is preferred
