Mechanical Structural Engineer II (Onsite)

This engineer will join Raytheon’s Mechanical Analysis and Test organization, a large team responsible for demonstrating structural and thermal integrity across defense programs. Work may include design studies, detailed stress analysis, test planning, model correlation, load development, production support, and field or qualification testing. The position combines classical mechanical engineering methods with tools such as finite element analysis, CAD, and MATLAB. It is suited to an engineer with a STEM bachelor’s degree, hands-on or academic structural analysis experience, and an interest in working on technically challenging products in a secure onsite environment. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance are required, and occasional travel may be necessary.
