Sr Principal Real-time Software Engineer

This engineer works on mission-critical autonomous avionics and weapons-related systems, creating real-time embedded software that operates reliably across heterogeneous hardware and FPGA environments. The position involves the full software lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, integration, testing, debugging, design reviews, and product quality improvements. Working in an Integrated Product Team, the engineer partners with product owners, chief engineers, and specialists from other disciplines using Agile or Lean development practices. The role also contributes to proposals, helps shape system concepts, and mentors less experienced engineers. It is well suited to an experienced embedded software professional who is comfortable with RTOS platforms, hardware integration, time-sensitive behavior, and defense-program security requirements.
