Database Administrator PL/SQL Developer

This engineer will translate manufacturing needs into technical designs and develop reliable, high-performance database applications for Intel’s global factory automation environment. The position sits within the Foundry Automation data systems team and works closely with manufacturing, automation, planning, and industrial engineering partners. Responsibilities include database design, PL/SQL development, performance tuning, data transformation, distributed systems work, deployment, documentation, and post-production support. The engineer may also apply analytics, machine learning, and optimization techniques to improve factory throughput, scheduling, and cycle times. It is well suited to an experienced database or software development professional who can work collaboratively in complex, changing environments and meet US government clearance requirements.

Requirements

US citizenship and ability to obtain TS clearance with SCI accessBS with 7+ years, MS with 5+ years, or PhD with 3+ years in a relevant field5+ years designing, developing, deploying, and tuning enterprise databasesExperience with Oracle, SQL Server, and PL/SQL4+ years with data transformations, data structures, metadata, and workload managementExperience with object-oriented development and distributed systems
