Critical Environments Operator (Level 1-4)

This position supports CyrusOne’s data center Operations & Maintenance function by monitoring infrastructure, completing preventive maintenance, responding to alarms, and carrying out approved operational changes. Operators use maintenance management systems, follow detailed operating and safety procedures, and coordinate with vendors and contractors while protecting critical loads. More experienced team members may lead switching activities, troubleshoot incidents, mentor colleagues, and contribute to capacity or operational planning. The opportunity suits candidates ranging from entry-level applicants with a strong willingness to learn to experienced facility engineers with electrical, mechanical, or HVAC/R expertise. It requires dependable communication, sound judgment, physical activity, and availability for rotating shifts, on-call coverage, and emergency response.
