Principal Software Engineer - Streaming Insights (Remote)

The engineer will develop and operate real-time data and AI/ML infrastructure used to improve aviation predictions and passenger outcomes. The work includes stream processing, high-throughput data access, production Kubernetes operations, automation, and turning extensive datasets into dependable products. As part of a small Aviation Intelligence group within RTX’s broader aerospace organization, the role combines hands-on implementation with planning, communication, and proposing new approaches. It is a strong fit for an experienced software engineer who enjoys distributed systems, statistical or machine-learning applications, infrastructure efficiency, and challenging problems with no obvious solution. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
