This engineer will analyze and model manufacturing operations to identify bottlenecks, optimize resources, improve work cells, and support reliable delivery of defense products. The role partners with production, engineering, program, and leadership teams on continuous improvement, facility planning, new product integration, safety, and factory expansion initiatives. Responsibilities include value stream mapping, capacity and manpower planning, simulation, layout design, process optimization, and preparation of business proposals. The position also contributes to production proposals and strategic roadmaps while helping leaders make data-based investment decisions. It suits an experienced industrial, systems, or manufacturing engineer who can lead cross-functional projects, communicate effectively, and influence teams in a secure defense-manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial, systems, manufacturing, or related engineeringAt least 5 years of relevant experience, or applicable advanced-degree experienceExperience with Lean, Six Sigma, capacity modeling, facility design, or process optimizationAbility to obtain and maintain required U.S. government and ATF clearancesExperience with factory layouts, simulation, CAD, or capacity analysis preferredStrong communication, project leadership, and influencing skills
