Lead Humanoid Robotics System Architect

IntelPhoenix, AZ$220,920.00-$361,480.00 USD annually

This leader will own the hierarchical robotics architecture spanning foundation models, visuomotor policies, whole-body control, joint-level control, communications, sensing, and safety systems. They will quantify computing and bandwidth needs, optimize AI models for target silicon, and determine how workloads should be distributed across central processors and remote robotic subsystems. The position coordinates architecture decisions and technical specifications across machine learning, controls, electrical, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams. It also involves experimentation, external partner engagement, and mentoring senior engineers on difficult system-level tradeoffs. The role suits an experienced cyber-physical systems architect with deep robotics or edge-AI expertise and strong quantitative communication skills.
