Incoming Material QR Engineer

TSMCPhoenix, AZ

This engineer will join TSMC Arizona’s Incoming Material Quality & Reliability organization, which manages incoming material quality, supplier performance, and domestic supply chain development. Responsibilities include assessing suppliers and materials, supporting new technology introduction, investigating material-related problems, and driving controls that reduce variation and prevent quality excursions. The position will also help build the incoming-material assurance infrastructure and guide local suppliers in meeting TSMC standards. It is well suited to a materials, chemistry, or chemical engineering professional with experience in chemical manufacturing and supplier quality management. A self-directed, collaborative communicator who remains effective under pressure and can travel 10–20% would fit the role well.

Requirements

Master’s or Ph.D. in materials science, materials engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related fieldExperience in chemical manufacturing or chemical synthesis, filtration, and purificationBackground in supplier quality or technology managementLegal authorization to work in the United StatesStrong communication, judgment, initiative, and teamwork skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities independently and meet commitments
