Senior Engineer II, Key Account Technology (Epi)

The engineer will guide epitaxy technology deployment at customer facilities, supporting new product introduction, process development, qualification, and high-volume manufacturing. Responsibilities include running experiments and demonstrations, monitoring equipment performance, resolving complex process issues, and leading root-cause and corrective-action efforts. The role partners with customer research and manufacturing groups as well as ASM’s R&D, marketing, and service organizations to translate technology needs into product improvements. It is suited to an experienced semiconductor process or applications professional with strong deposition knowledge, analytical ability, and customer-facing communication skills. Fluency in Korean and English is required, and the selected candidate will complete approximately six months of training in the United States.

Requirements

Advanced degree in chemical engineering, materials science, physics, electrical engineering, or a related discipline4–8+ years of relevant experience with a Ph.D. or 7–10+ years with a master’s degreeHands-on experience with epitaxy, thin-film deposition, diffusion, or related semiconductor wafer processesExperience in semiconductor manufacturing, process development, equipment applications, or technology supportAbility to lead technical escalations, root-cause analysis, NPI, and customer-site technology evaluationsFluency in Korean and English
