This senior-level position is part of RTX's Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization, which specializes in creating state-of-the-art flight simulation environments for missile testing before actual flight trials. The engineer will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop real-time control software, establish build procedures, and integrate complex systems while ensuring compliance with hardware and software standards. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or STEM field with minimum 5 years relevant experienceProficiency in C++ with object-oriented programmingExperience in at least two of: Embedded Software, Embedded Security, RTOS (Linux, VxWorks), or Software Architecture DesignActive and transferable Secret-level DoD security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)Strong technical communication and cross-disciplinary collaboration skillsExperience with real-time systems, control modeling, or test equipment troubleshooting
