Manufacturing Quality and Reliability Engineer

The engineer will help ensure that cutting-edge semiconductor products meet defined quality and long-term reliability expectations during manufacturing. Key work includes establishing DPPM goals, assessing risks through reliability testing and fab events, applying structured problem-solving methods, and determining how engineering changes may affect product performance. The position works across manufacturing, engineering, and customer-facing functions to review evaluations, screening approaches, and reliability windows. It suits a technically experienced semiconductor professional with graduate-level training, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with reliability testing, data tools, and programming. The role is based on-site at TSMC Arizona in Phoenix and requires adaptability, accountability, and comfort working in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

Master’s degree in engineering, physics, statistics, reliability, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of semiconductor quality, reliability, integration, or product engineering experienceKnowledge of TDDB, HCI, BTI, electromigration, and stress migration testingExperience with 4082, MPPT, Sagi, Excel VBA, and PythonAbility to assess engineering changes and protect product reliability standardsStrong communication, problem-solving, judgment, and multitasking skills
