Software Engineer I (Onsite)

This engineer will help translate software needs into architecture, implementation, integration, and verification for high-reliability embedded systems. The work includes C and C++ development, hardware-in-the-loop testing, target debugging, peer reviews, and adherence to disciplined configuration and development processes. The position is part of Raytheon’s Software Engineering Directorate and supports agile teams building mission-critical aerospace and defense products. It is well suited to an early-career engineer with project, research, or practical experience in object-oriented programming and embedded systems who wants exposure to real-time software, operating systems, simulation, and modern engineering workflows. The role is onsite in Tucson, Arizona and requires U.S. citizenship along with the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance before starting.
