Design Department Manager

This manager oversees engineers and design professionals across mechanical, electrical, process, structural, and water systems for large-scale semiconductor facility projects. The position guides work from early design definition through permitting, construction coordination, commissioning, and final issue resolution. It partners with construction, procurement, contractors, engineering representatives, vendors, and authorities to keep projects aligned with schedule, budget, codes, and quality expectations. The role also strengthens TSMC Arizona’s external design and construction network and leads value-engineering and long-lead equipment decisions. It suits an experienced engineering leader with semiconductor or megaproject construction expertise who can work effectively in an active, on-site Phoenix construction environment.
