Mechanical Engineer II - Structural Engineer

This engineer will join Raytheon’s Mechanical Analysis and Test organization, a large team responsible for validating structural and thermal performance across complex defense systems. The work includes classical stress calculations, finite element analysis, test planning, model correlation, load development, and support for qualification and field activities. The position is suited to an early-career engineer with practical structural analysis experience who can work both independently and collaboratively under program constraints. Candidates who bring testing, dynamics, CAD, MATLAB, customer presentation, or advanced-degree experience may be especially competitive. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain an active transferable Secret clearance are required, and the role is based onsite in Tucson, Arizona.
