Fire Life Safety Systems Technician

This technician works within the site facilities and life safety function to keep fire alarms, suppression equipment, detectors, sensors, and associated controls operational. Duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, component replacement, system testing, inspection reporting, and coordination with PLC and SCADA interfaces. The position requires applying fire and building codes, engineering documentation, electrical safety practices, and hazardous-material handling procedures. It suits a hands-on professional with industrial fire systems experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with technical teams. The work is physically demanding and may involve ladders, confined spaces, outdoor conditions, heavy lifting, respirator use, and participation in emergency response activities.
