The Airframe IPT Lead guides multidisciplinary engineers through the design, maturation, integration, testing, and delivery of advanced airframe assemblies. This position owns major execution priorities, including the integrated schedule, earned value management, mass allocations, design releases, and verification activities needed to support a successful preliminary design review. The lead also coordinates internal organizations, government representatives, suppliers, and domestic partners while managing technical risks and program trade-offs. The role is well suited to an experienced aerospace or defense engineering leader with strong systems thinking, program execution, and team-building skills. Work involves hypersonic environments and requires U.S. citizenship, an active Secret clearance, and eligibility for special program access.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or related technical field with 12 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent advanced-degree experience pathActive U.S. Government Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Program AccessExperience leading technical teams and applying DoD systems engineering requirementsPrior experience as an IPT lead, technical lead, or comparable engineering/program leadership roleExperience directing engineering through design, development, testing, and customer deliveryExperience developing and executing project schedules; EVMS or CAM experience is preferred
