Open role
Field Service Engineer (Onsite)
Working with Advanced Thermal Sciences within Collins Aerospace, the engineer serves as the primary technical representative at customer facilities in the Phoenix area and potentially elsewhere. The role covers equipment installation, testing, repair, preventative maintenance, removal, upgrades, and performance analysis, with responsibility for meeting service commitments and customer operational needs. The engineer also coordinates logistics and system configurations, reviews equipment records for recurring issues, and communicates recommendations to customers and internal teams. This position suits a hands-on problem solver who is comfortable working independently in industrial environments and building strong customer relationships. Experience with refrigeration, electrical controls, PLCs, and electromechanical diagnostics is valuable, while equivalent practical training or field experience may substitute for a traditional degree.
