Ocotillo Failure Analysis Engineer – TEM/Probing Engineer
This engineer will work within Intel’s manufacturing organization to diagnose failures across wafers, devices, packages, and related technologies. Responsibilities include operating TEM, SEM, optical, probing, and electrical characterization equipment while interpreting test data, schematics, layouts, and device structures. The position involves coordinating probing with FIB and TEM workflows, improving laboratory best practices, maintaining tool performance, and contributing to process transfers and yield initiatives. It also includes mentoring junior technical staff and collaborating with failure analysis and cross-functional engineering teams. The role suits a hands-on semiconductor or laboratory professional with strong instrumentation skills, independent problem-solving ability, and an interest in advanced device debugging.
