Principal Process Engineer

Based in Phoenix, this senior engineering role supports ASM’s semiconductor technology and product teams by creating and improving processes such as ALD, PEALD, epitaxy, PECVD, oxidation, annealing, and curing. The engineer plans complex experiments, applies DOE and statistical response methods, interprets process and materials data, and connects equipment behavior with device performance. The position also contributes to customer demonstrations, process integration, product transfer, technical documentation, and occasional field support involving travel of up to 10%. It includes mentoring engineers and may involve supervisory responsibility for technicians.
