Senior Engineer I, Software Engineering- "Factory Automation"

This position designs, tests, deploys, and maintains software that controls semiconductor tools, including robotics, gas systems, and temperature-control hardware. The engineer works across Windows and real-time operating systems, diagnosing software and equipment issues and helping resolve mechanical, electrical, and control-system problems. The role also supports factory integration through protocols such as SECS/GEM, GEM300, EDA, and AMHS, while contributing to specifications, architecture, testing, and scheduling. It involves close coordination with QA, support personnel, field engineers, automation specialists, and customers around the world. This opportunity suits an experienced C# developer with semiconductor equipment or factory automation experience and an interest in real-time, multithreaded, and machine-control software.
