Principal Production Planner and Scheduler

This position develops and maintains production plans that align materials, labor, equipment, inventory, and shop capacity with manufacturing needs. The planner works closely with manufacturing, quality, engineering, purchasing, inventory control, and logistics teams to keep parts moving and resolve operational constraints. The role also communicates work-in-progress status and emerging risks to management while preparing work orders, purchase requests, and related production documentation. It is suited to an experienced production control professional who can work independently, use ERP and MRP systems effectively, and coordinate complex activities with internal and external stakeholders. Experience with Costpoint, MES, SAP, and aerospace or defense manufacturing would be especially valuable.
