Critical Environments Operator (Level 1-4) - NIGHT SHIFT

The operator works as part of a continuously staffed Operations and Maintenance team responsible for protecting data center uptime during rotating night shifts. Daily work includes responding to alarms, completing maintenance activities, documenting work in a CMMS, performing controlled equipment changes, and coordinating safely with vendors and contractors. More experienced operators may lead switching activities, troubleshoot complex issues, mentor colleagues, and contribute to planning and operational reporting. The position suits both motivated beginners with a strong safety focus and experienced facility or data center technicians with electrical, mechanical, or HVAC/R expertise. Candidates must be comfortable in a physically active environment, working flexible overnight schedules and responding to emergencies when needed.

Ability to work rotating overnight shifts, on-call coverage, and emergency overtimeStrong safety awareness and knowledge of applicable proceduresExperience in data center, facility maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or HVAC/R work appropriate to levelAbility to troubleshoot, prioritize incidents, and manage multiple tasksBasic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel; CMMS experience is usefulAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent walking, bending, and standing
