This role is part of Raytheon’s larger Environment, Health & Safety organization and serves as a technical safety resource for site operations. The specialist partners with facilities, engineering, production, contractors, and management to apply regulatory requirements and maintain effective EHS programs. Responsibilities include hazard assessments, incident root-cause analysis, corrective actions, inspections, training, management-of-change reviews, and support for audit readiness. The position may also assist with environmental, industrial hygiene, chemical review, medical, and facility-related activities. Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of applicable safety experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of experienceAbility to obtain and maintain Secret-level DoD security clearance; U.S. citizenship requiredDemonstrated expertise in developing and implementing injury reduction programs and safety initiativesStrong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, NIOSH, ANSI, and NFPA regulatory standardsExperience conducting incident investigations, root cause analysis, and audit supportExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence diverse stakeholder groups
