Senior System Engineer

This position is part of Raytheon’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities organization, which develops and supports advanced aerospace, missile, autonomous, and sensor-integrated technologies. The engineer will manage requirements, define system architectures and interfaces with MBSE tools, guide integration, and lead verification and validation throughout the systems engineering lifecycle. Responsibilities also include trade studies, performance analysis, failure investigations, test equipment integration, technical documentation, and collaboration with customers and suppliers. The role includes serving as a technical authority, leading verification reviews, mentoring engineers, and coordinating work across multiple engineering disciplines. It suits an experienced systems engineer with a background in areas such as autonomy, controls, robotics, navigation, embedded systems, sensors, or real-time technology who can work independently and communicate effectively. The position is fully onsite in Tucson and requires U.S. citizenship along with an active or obtainable interim Secret clearance.
