This engineer joins Raytheon’s multidisciplinary Test Equipment Engineering organization, which creates test systems used throughout the product lifecycle. The work includes developing mechanical and electromechanical test equipment for environments such as vibration, thermal, hydraulic, RF, and electro-optical testing. The engineer will also investigate production problems, validate equipment performance, and improve designs and documentation. This opportunity suits a mechanical engineer with hands-on design and production-support experience, strong 3D CAD and drawing skills, and familiarity with GD&T. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance are required for this Tucson-based position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 2 years of relevant engineering experienceAt least 2 years of mechanical design or production-support experienceAt least 2 years using 3D CAD tools, preferably Creo or Pro/ENGINEERWorking knowledge of GD&TExperience producing mechanical drawings or engineering documentationU.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
