Senior Analyst-Import/Export (Classification)

This position manages classification activities involving HTS codes, ECCNs, Schedule B, and other international trade designations for Microchip’s electronics and semiconductor products. It requires reviewing engineering materials and collaborating with technical, operational, sales, and logistics stakeholders to make well-supported classification decisions. The analyst also prepares CCATS and customs ruling requests, supports audits, monitors regulatory updates, and maintains thorough documentation. The role suits an experienced trade compliance professional who is analytical, detail-oriented, comfortable interpreting technical information, and able to explain regulatory conclusions clearly. Experience with export controls, import regulations, compliance systems, and cross-functional work is especially valuable.
