Senior Engineer I - Quality

This position supports Microchip’s worldwide quality organization by auditing sites against multiple industry standards and helping maintain certifications across engineering and manufacturing locations. The engineer investigates customer quality concerns, performs root-cause analysis, and coordinates corrective actions with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and failure-analysis teams. The role also improves new product release processes, reviews customer requirements, develops process maps, and supports integration of acquired businesses into the company’s quality system. Additional work includes quality application and tool development, potentially incorporating machine learning, along with statistical analysis and improvement programs focused on defect reduction. It suits an experienced semiconductor or electronics quality professional who can lead complex projects, communicate with global teams, and travel as needed.
