Equipment Technician

TSMCPhoenix, AZ

The technician will work on 300mm wafer-fabrication tools, carrying out scheduled maintenance, post-maintenance inspections, system response, and defect investigation. This position supports the fab equipment and manufacturing function by reviewing production data, addressing tool issues, and improving spare-parts processes. Most work takes place on the factory floor in full cleanroom protective gear, with strict attention to safety, documentation, and operating procedures. The role suits candidates with a high school education or technical military training who are comfortable using computer-based systems and performing hands-on machine maintenance. Applicants must be able to work rotating compressed-week shifts, including extended day or night shifts, and may be required to support emergency response activities.
